Visit to Charming Nakhodka!

Every baptism is special in Russia...in fact every baptism is a miracle. Each missionary can say they have seen the "hand of the Lord" when baptisms have occurred. This particular occasion was very special as a husband and wife were baptized in Nakhodka. Their two daughters and his mother are scheduled to be baptized on November 1 making this such an incredible event...a family of five baptized members of the church.

Elders Erickson and Ostler found an entire family on the street who would listen to their message (a rare occurrence), and the family was interested in the gospel immediately. With diligence and perseverance coupled with much love, these elders taught this incredible family the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

What sets all of our missionaries apart in the Russia Vladivostok Mission is the loving boldness with which they teach the gospel. Had Elders Erickson and Ostler been "afraid" to approach this family and let them just "pass by" they would have missed out on this glorious opportunity.  They chose not to fear..."Perfect love casteth out all fear."

 Elders Sayers and Howe...
...and mini-missionary Nastia and Sister Dudley round out the top-notch missionaries serving in Nakhodka.
Here the elders stand with the newly-baptized couple.
Joined by the two daughters and Grandmother...
...and all those who attended the baptism. What a glorious occasion it was!
