West Zone Conference

West Zone Conference was held in Irkutsk on March 12. The three zones who attended are: Irkutsk, Angarsk, and Ulan-Ude.

Here Pres. Brinton instructs the missionaries on what makes a "consecrated missionary".

Our wonderful missionaries take careful notes to be reviewed during companionship study in upcoming days.

Each branch (district) has a set of sister missionaries. We have nine branches throughout the mission (with Artyom becoming a branch this Sunday!) From left are: Sister Bell (Irkutsk), Sister Cavaness (Ulan-Ude), Sister Hawley (Ulan-Ude) Sister Clark (Angarsk) Sister Oler (Angarsk) and Sister Woodland (Irkutsk). There is actually a Subway restaurant in Irkutsk which we all enjoyed for lunch!

Elders Laughlin and Crabb are companions in Irkutsk.

...as are Elders Stepheson and Lusk (Irkutsk)

Standing together are companions, Elders Luke and Bassett (Ulan-Ude)

...and companions, Pres. and Sister Brinton!

 Sisters Bell and Woodland...(Irkutsk)

 Elders Cluff and Niederhauser... (Angarsk)

Sisters Clark and Oler...(Angarsk)

 Elders Luekenga and Pack... (Angarsk)

Sisters Cavaness and Hawley...(Ulan-Ude)

 Elders Johnsen and Walker... (Ulan-Ude)

All the sisters stop for a quick photo...Sister Nelson, Sister Brinton, Sister Cavaness, Sister Bell, Sister Woodland, Sister Oler, Sister Clark, and Sister Hawley.

Elder and Sister Nelson have served faithfully as the senior couple in the West Zones. They are CES (Church Educational System missionaries).

The West Zone poses for a photo. From left: Sisters Cavaness, Clark, Oler, Pres. and Sister Brinton, Elder and Sister Nelson, Sisters Woodland, Bell, and Hawley. Back row: Elders Johnsen, Walker, Luekenga, Bassett, Pack, Cluff, Stepheson, Niederhauser, Lusk, Laughlin, Luke, and Crabb.

We had a wonderful and uplifting day together strengthening testimonies and building a resolve in each missionary to be "lovingly bold". Each missionary was sent to this mission to succeed. We consider the missionaries of the Russia Vladivostok Mission to be the Lord's Olympic Missionary Team! Each one is an amazing young man/young woman!!
