Wonderful Elder Returns Home!

On July 7, 2014, Elder Cruse completed his faithful mission for the Lord. This picture shows Elder Cruse crossing the threshold into the mission home, which marks the official end to his proselyting in Vladivostok where he has served for the past several months. Other areas where Elder Cruse served are Khabarovsk, Angarsk, and Ulan-Ude.

Elder Cruse retired his tie and name tag in the new section of the Wall of Fame as the original section is already filled with ties and scarves.

Another tradition is the picture taken in front of the big world map in the Mission Home.
Elder Cruse could not resist the very Russian tradition of wrapping his suitcase in plastic wrap.
Elder Cruse is from Council Bluffs, IA. He is the oldest of four children and wants to become a Navy Seal medic, which will require many years of medical school and specialty. His goal is to assist Navy Seals in the rescue of injured troops on the battlefield. Elder Cruse was an outstanding missionary. He spent a good part of his mission in Siberia and adapted readily to the very cold climate. He is known for his great smile and tons of energy. We will miss him.
