Missionary Leadership Council

As close to the first of each month as possible, Missionary Leadership Council is held at the Mission Home. Those who attend are the 9 zone leaders, 4 sister missionary trainers, the 2 assistants, and President and Sister Brinton. Leaders from the West zones fly through the night to Vladivostok to attend the meeting. Each zone leader's/sister trainer's input is invaluable.

 "Oki Doki" pizza is a favorite for MLC. Pres. Lawrence of the Area Presidency has asked all Mission Presidents' wives to be in the meetings actively participating and not in the kitchen fixing meals for this very important meeting.

 Sister Training Leaders are an invaluable part of the meetings now. Formerly named Zone Leader Council, it used to only include Zone Leaders in the missions.

 In spite of being up "all night" to fly to the meeting, Zone Leaders from the West Zones manage big smiles.

Our incredible office elders, Elders Elwood (foreground), Jewkes, and Hardy carefully pack all the mountains of mail and packages received post-Christmas. The mail/packages will be taken by the Zone Leaders to all parts of the mission by airplane, bus, and train.

Goals were set for numbers of baptisms and Sacrament meeting attendance in each zone and mission wide. February is going to be a stellar month. Next up: Zone Conferences!!
