Energetic and ready-to-go...new missionaries arrive!

The same day that missionaries depart for home, incoming missionaries arrive from the MTC. In fact, the plane that brings the incoming missionaries from Seoul, Korea is the same plane that takes our departing missionaries back to Seoul on the first leg of their return flight. Because the departing missionaries need to go through passport control in a timely manner, they never get to meet the new incoming missionaries who actually arrive ahead of the departing missionaries. We are thrilled to welcome these well-prepared missionaries. They will be a tremendous blessing to our mission.
Elders Shepherd and Price emerge from the baggage/passport control area to cheers.
From left to right are new missionaries Elder Shepherd from Salt Lake City, UT; Elder Fletcher from Eagle Mountain, UT; Elder Elwood from Logan, UT; Elder Price from Salt Lake City, UT; Sister Trunina from Voronezh, Russia; Sister Wilson from La Crescenta, CA; and Sister Baum from Salem, OR.
A welcome dinner awaits the new missionaries.
Three of the trainers for incoming missionaries, Elders Gunnell, Browning, and Whitmore, help with lunch.
Elders Barney (trainer), Elwood, Price, Shepherd, Whitmore (trainer), Starastin, Vandygriff, Gunnell (trainer), and Browning (trainer) eat lunch. Elder Fletcher was being interviewed by Pres. Brinton during the taking of this photo.
Sisters Wilson, Christensen (trainer), Baum, Gates, Allison (trainer), Hesley, Trunina, and Larsen (trainer) have a fun lunchtime conversation.
All the new incoming missionaries ended up brushing their teeth at the same time before retiring to their rooms for a good night's sleep.
