On Wednesday, February 6, we said a fond farewell to Elder Shannon of Herriman, Utah. What a wonderful, faithful elder he has been! His beautiful smile lights up a room and his love of the Savior is very apparent.
A young member of the branch in Sakhalin was very sad to say good-bye to Elder Shannon who was a loving role model to the young people of the branch.
We miss you, Elder Shannon!
On Friday, February 8, we welcomed Elder Cruse to our mission (2nd from left). Elder Cruse is from Council Bluffs, Iowa and surprised us all with his amazing Russian-speaking ability...already!!!
